News: 20th C. vs. 21st C.

News presentation in the twentieth century had been professionally conveyed, including mainstream content which maintained a general viewpoint of reporters, editors, and publishers. The news obtained a limited focus from audiences. News presentation in the twenty-first century had been professionally AND personally conveyed, including web blogs, which allowed individuals to ‘step inside a reporter’s shoes’ and create a diverse set of information sources. In this day-in-age, the news is updated according to the convenience of an individual’s daily living. Ideas shared via blog posts collect on a website with a continuous theme that appeal to people interested in associated topics. The two-way street that blogging provides give the opportunity to build relationships based on an individual’s unique perspective. Reading, quoting, as well as providing links on blog websites develop communities of specialized interests.
